Mon Health Medical Center’s Sleep Center Receives Reaccreditation by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine

Research shows that sleeping habits directly affect a person’s overall health. Sleep deficiency is linked to many chronic health problems including high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, obesity, and heart attacks.
At the Mon Health Medical Center Sleep Center, patients can be tested through both at-home and in-lab studies for sleep-related issues such as sleep apnea, insomnia, narcolepsy, and more. Patients then receive personalized care to treat their diagnosed conditions, which can range from lifestyle changes to medication or breathing assistance devices, such as a continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) machine.

The AASM Sleep Center Accreditation extends for five years and allows for many patient benefits, including broader insurance coverage for consultations, tests, and treatment. The Mon Health Medical Center Sleep Center is located at 1188 Pineview Drive, Suite 100, in Morgantown at the bottom floor of the Holiday Inn.
