Mon Pathways to Success

Preparing adults for successful lives through employment and growth opportunities at Mon Health Medical Center.

Breaking Down Barriers

Re-entering the workforce or entering for the first time can pose many challenges and through this program, we are working to eliminate those barriers. A high school diploma, GED or college degree is not required for entry-level positions. The Talent team will help obtain social security cards or birth certificates when applicable. Transportation and a meal from our cafeteria will be provided for each shift.

Through the delivery of monthly professional development workshops, career counseling, mentorship, and experiential education, we strive to provide a transparent, sustainable, and comprehensive program to empower individuals experiencing homelessness, recovery, or those who have difficulty re-entering the workforce. This program empowers positive systemic change in partnership with Mon Health Medical Center, United Way of Mon and Preston counties, agencies located at Hazel's House of Hope, and more.

Transparency, Sustainability, Approachability

Individuals hired through Mon Pathways to Success will have the opportunity to apply for funding to further their education after the first six months of employment. This fund, similar to the MHMC Foundation's Colleague Support Fund, will provide extra financial assistance to help sustain employees long-term and provide educational career growth.
